Realtor Jim Holmes will provide market analysis and host Q&A at Holly Creek
On Thursday, January 12 certified senior real estate specialist Jim Holmes will provide a market analysis on the current state of south metro Denver’s real estate market at the Holly Creek Retirement Community in Centennial. Holmes will talk about how recent and projected interest rate increases will impact home sales and where he sees the market the next six months.
“Many factors influence the selling and buying of homes including interest rates, the condition of the house and a home’s address – which can either be a plus or minus depending on who is shopping,” said Holmes.
According to Holmes, the market is shifting to a normal market. “Consumers tend to think about six months behind the market and inventory was so tight we became conditioned to think that if a house was not sold within two days, that was a long time.”
Holmes will also address the influx of people relocating to Colorado and how that affects the market. Part of the presentation will involve a question and answer section with Holmes, who has more than 30-years experience in the Denver market.
